Making a Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our website, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Order" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.
Data collected by this site is used to:
a. Take and fulfill customer orders
b. Administer and enhance the site and service
c. Only disclose information to third-parties for goods delivery purposes
d. Send you future offers unless you decide to opt out.
Payment Options
We accept credit/debit card payment, and payments through Paypal (Paypal also accepts credit/debit card orders without an account). We accept Visa and Mastercard Solo and Switch. As you are redirected to a third-party payment gateway (standard internet practice), your card details are taken by those organisations. Details of their security measures - PCI-DSS compliance - can be found on their websites.
Credit Card Security
All payments are made through a third party payment gateway. We do not store any card details for future use.
When filling in the address on the payment form please make sure that you input the same details as your postal address.
If you have any problem with paying via the online gateway please contact the office before trying again. You can also place your order over the phone 5 days a week between 9.00am and 5.00pm by calling 0161 278 3153.
Back Orders
If your item is not in stock it will be placed on back order. We take deliveries from our suppliers weekly so your goods will normally be delivered in a maximum of 8 working days for postal items or 11 working days for hand delivered items. If there is a longer delay in getting hold of the item you will be contacted to give you the option of waiting or cancelling your order.

Guarantee Warranty
The customer is expressly informed that Northwest Cosmetics is not the manufacturer of the goods presented on the web site and that Northwest Cosmetics shall not be held liable for defective goods.
In the case of damage to a person or property resulting from a product defect, only the product manufacturer shall be held liable and sought after by the customer, by means of the information provided on the packaging of said product.
Accuracy
Northwest Cosmetics has taken great care in the preparation of the content of this Website, however we cannot guarantee uninterrupted and totally reliable access to this Website. We cannot also guarantee that the information will always be completely correct, up to date and free of mistakes.
Northwest Cosmetics make no warranties or representations about the accuracy of this site content or any sites that are linked to Northwest Cosmetics and assume no responsibility or liability for any loss, expense, damage or other inconvenience arising as a result of access problems or errors or omissions in the content of the Website.
Our Promise
We will always do our best to help in whatever way we can. The focus of this business is you, our customer. Please feel free to contact us if you believe you have not received the best service possible.
Delivery Time
We aspire to despatch your order within 1-2 working days once you have placed your order and where the items are in available stock. As soon as you place an order with us at Northwest Cosmetics, a confirmation email will be sent to you, letting you know your order is being processed. This does not affect our standard rights under the Distance Selling Regulations 2000.
Out of Stock Items
If any items are out of stock, you will be contacted with a revised date of shipment, where you will be notified when the out of stock items will be back on stock, and therefore have the option to replace / credit for the out of stock items.
If you request a refund, a credit note will be issued to the customer, clearly stating the credited item and cost of item, along with the initial invoice, if other items are purchased.
Loss of Goods in Transit
Where we use a third party to make a delivery (as with any shipment), a delay or loss of goods is possible. In such a case, the carrier shall start an investigation. Every effort is made, for as long as necessary, to find the package. If the package is not found, the carrier will reimburse Northwest Cosmetics who will then deliver a new, identical package to the customer free of charge.
We shall not be held responsible for delayed delivery times due to the carrier, including for the loss of goods, bad weather or strikes.
Christmas Delivery Times
Each year we will aim to publish our Christmas Delivery schedule as soon as we are notified by our couriers.
Whilst we endeavour to help you get your order in time for Christmas, once posted, we cannot be held responsible for delays caused within the courier service.
Cancelling your Order
Should you not be entirely satisfied with your order, you are able to cancel your order/return the items subject to the Distance Selling Regulations Act 2000 and Sale of Goods Act
Before Dispatch
You can cancel your order with Northwest Cosmetics at any time before dispatch and request a full refund in writing. We will aim to refund the value of your order back to the card used within 14 days.
During Transit/Within 7 days of receipt
If you change your mind, you can cancel your order at any time up to 7 working days after the day of delivery. To do so, you must inform us of your cancellation, via email, letter or fax within that period. This only applies to goods that are unopened and in a resaleable condition (see below). Please be aware that you if you do cancel an order, you must return the goods at your own expense. If you do decide to cancel your order, Northwest Cosmetics cannot accept any items that have been opened from the original dispatch box. If you wish to cancel an order, you must cancel the entire order, providing you have not opened your complete parcel. We cannot accept returns of any part orders.
Opened Items
Northwest Cosmetics will not accept the return of any opened or used items. Due to the current COVID Pandemic, we cannot accept the return of any items ordered in store or online.
Incorrect or Faulty Items
If you receive an item you consider to be incorrect or faulty, Northwest Cosmetics will gladly replace or refund it, provided you inform us within 7 working days of you receiving your order. Once we have received your returned items, a replacement will be sent to you at no additional cost, or a refund will be issued to you with a credit note.
Damaged Items
All items leave Northwest Cosmetics condition in perfect condition, wrapped in bubblewrap and additional packaging to ensure safe transit. If your goods arrive damaged, you must inform us as soon as possible – if you are able to provide proof (photo evidence) of the damage we may be able to claim against the courier. We will then advise whether or not you need to return the item, for which we will refund you a reasonable return cost, and the value of the damaged goods. You will then need to advise whether you require replacement items for which you would be recharged.
Returning Items
Please ensure that the goods are packaged adequately and clearly labelled, to protect you against any damages or products being lost during the return process. Once we at Northwest Cosmetics have received your returned items, and are satisfied that the product is returned in resaleable condition, we will issue you a credit note and refund as explained above. If the items are damaged in transit back to us, then we reserve the right to refuse any credit.
